Farm shop, open six days a week

Everything on these shelves grew within a mile of the till

Strawberries in June, tomatoes in July, apples by September. We sell what our own fields, orchard and hives give us, in the weeks they give it.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9 to 5

Grown here

The fields start where the car park ends

Nothing here comes off a lorry. The fields, the orchard and the hives are all within a mile of the shop, so what you buy was picked days ago, not shipped for weeks.

Seasonal calendar

Three harvests, June to December

If it isn't in season, it isn't on the shelves. Here is when each harvest comes in.

Every Saturday

Saturday is press day

Every Saturday the juice press runs in the shop, on fruit from the same mile as everything else. Come and watch it pressed, then take a bottle home.

Also on the shelves

Potatoes, squash and honey

Grown and gathered on the same land as the fruit. Ask at the till what came in this week.

Honey

From hive to jar without leaving the farm

The bees work the same orchard and fields as we do. We lift the frames, strain the honey and jar it here, some with a piece of comb left in.
