Four places to visit with one ticket

The glasshouses, the alpine garden, and the seed museum all open at nine. Pick a place to start, and plan the rest of the day from there.

Palm house

Palms, ferns, and climbing plants from the tropics grow under the tallest roof. The house stays warm and damp all year.

Cactus house

Desert plants from four continents grow in dry beds beside the brick path. Most of them flower in late spring.

Alpine garden

Low shrubs and small conifers grow between the rocks outside. Come in May or June to see the most flowers.

Seed museum

Old glass cases hold seeds, fruits, and woods from around the world. Entry is free with your garden ticket.
